The Baby Show

On 27th October 2013 we went to The Baby Show at Olympia Kensington and if you're pregnant considering going to the next one then go - we both loved it, yes that's right even Michael loved an entire day of shopping.. he also loved reminding me that I forgot the tickets and we had to turn around to go back home for them! OOPS! (probably not the best way to start a day of shopping with your boyfriend).

I have already said I want to go to the next baby show but its 2 weeks before my due date so I'm not allowed.

We found some amazing offers at the show and met some great brands we hadn't heard of before.

Our favorites were; puckababy, natures purest, funky giraffe and mama baby bliss which I will review when we start using them.

Puckababy Gogo, original swaddle, coverlet and bag.

Natures purest Mee Mee mouse comforter

Funky giraffe bibs

The best show offer for us was from Babies R Us which offered 20% off marked prices, this included items that were already reduced. We ordered a cot mattress, baby monitors, moses basket, hooded towel and a tommee tippee electric breast pump.

Vintage hugs and kisses

Olive and Henri towel
Motorola monitors

Cot mattress
Electric breast pump

The big order we made at The Baby Show was the travel system. We looked around at different brands and decided that we both loved the Bugaboo Cameleon 3 so I spent a few hours on google before going to the show to find the best prices we could find. I made a list of the items we wanted; Cameleon 3, black fabric pack, black footmuff, car seat adapters, Maxi-Cosi Pebble car seat in total black and Easy fix car seat base. We went to the show armed with our best price and straight away found it cheaper, we didn't buy it from the first place though because we wanted to have a look around and I am glad we did. We then found Baby Planet who were more helpful and once I told her the best price I had found she said we will beat it.. So we ordered it making a saving of around £250 on the package based on the rrp I had googled and we can't wait to receive it. I'm sure we will review it from mummy and daddy's point of view in the future :)

The final thing I will say about the baby show is I loved the freebies! We got some nappies, a mam bottle, 4 dummies, fisher price toys and a vest. Make sure you buy the Made For Mums goody bag for £2 but wait until you're ready to leave as it is heavy!

If you go to the February one have fun and let me know what you think :)
