Santa Trains
If we were in North Wales this Christmas then we would definitely be going on a train ride... (which Oliver loves) with SANTA! (who Oliver, loves!). So I thought I'd share these two great events I've heard of today in case you're in the area or maybe to look our for next year & plan in advance because they both look fantastic.
Firstly, North East Wales - Santa steams into Llangollen Steam Railway Station North Wales Borderlands, Friday 20th December - Tuesday 24th December 2013 taking you to Carrog which is renamed, Lapland for Santa's visit - how cute? Great for older children who can read to get into the festive spirit!
Santa is making some special visits to the historic station in the days before Christmas for some festive fun train rides where Santa will personally give children on board the train a present while the parents (or grandparents) will get to indulge in a minced pie & mulled wine from Santa's helpers.
Tickets are £15 per person and children under 1 go free.

Second I would like to tell you about this event...
Join Santa & his elves on a train journey between Porthmadog and Tan-y-Bwich on Ffestiniog Railway which will depart at 11am/2:15pm on 21st & 22nd December.
There will be plenty of fun for the whole family on board, lots of festive cheer as the steam train chugs up the tracks to either Tan-y-Bwich or Waunfawr stations, you can get off for a walk around or to buy those last minute presents - anyone else not finished yet?please don't be just me! And have your photo taken with, as Oliver calls him "Santa Christmas". Santa will give out presents to children on the train, with the help of his elves and adults will also get a mince pie. I don't like mince pies but everyone else seems to... I say I don't like them but I've never actually had one? hmm...

Tickets start at £11 for adults and children 2-15 years, £3 for under two years old. I think it sounds fab! For more information Click Here!
I don't know if any tickets are still available, I just wanted to share the events with you but if you have no plans and you can get there then you should check, as a mummy to a 4 year old boy, I know that these would both be very popular events with him and also with my boyfriend too... oh ok and i'd love it as well - just wish we were able to get there for them!
Have you ever been or are you planning to go?
Mary-Kate, x
